ANTIQ (score & parts) [PDF]

$30.00

ANTIQ is percussion sextet for drum ensemble that draws ideas from the rhythmic modes of the composers affiliated with the Notre Dame School, predating the modern notation we see today. The process of how the piece unfolds, however, is through the different patterns that interweave until converging again. Set durations are played by each player over the course of time, diverging and converging throughout. This piece was commissioned and premiered by the Iowa Colony High School Percussion Ensemble.

Instrumentation:

  • 2 Concert Bass Drums

  • 2 Sets of Toms (3 per player)

  • 2 Sets of Bongos

Includes:

  • Full Score

  • All Parts
